These purposes include enhancing consumer convenience by making it simple for customers to schedule pickups, track drivers in real time, communicate delivery instructions, and receive proof-of-delivery notifications from a single mobile platform. We create fair earning opportunities by providing independent drivers with access to flexible income streams, transparent pay calculations, distance-based compensation, and tools that support safe, rapid, and efficient delivery workflows.

To ensure trust and safety, Plight Hero relies on verification procedures, encrypted communications, and identity validation tools for both customers and drivers. We prioritize data protection, operational visibility, and compliance with United States privacy regulations. Our use of modern technology, including cross-platform mobile apps, cloud-based storage, encrypted messaging, payment integrations, and route optimization, helps to reduce congestion, shorten travel distances, and minimize delivery errors.

We are committed to collecting only the information that is reasonably necessary to provide delivery services, ensure safety and compliance, process payments, support customer and driver operations, prevent fraud, and meet legal and regulatory obligations. All data is used exclusively for app functionality and delivery operations. We do not collect information for unrelated purposes. We do not sell personal information. We do not use data for advertising, marketing, or user profiling.

3. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals and entities who access or use the Services in any capacity. This includes, without limitation, individual customers requesting deliveries for personal use, business customers managing deliveries for commercial purposes, independent drivers performing delivery services through the platform, website visitors, mobile app users, and any person who communicates with Plight Hero through email, in-app messaging, customer support, or other channels.

The Policy also applies to users who begin the registration or onboarding process but do not complete it, as well as former users whose information must be retained for legitimate business, legal, regulatory, security, or operational reasons. This Privacy Policy governs all information collected through the Services, whether collected online or offline, including information collected through automated technologies, direct user input, communications with support, or third-party integrations used to support the Services.

Plight Hero operates a technology-enabled logistics platform that facilitates delivery services by connecting customers and businesses with independent drivers. While Plight Hero does not itself perform physical delivery services, the operation of the platform requires the collection and processing of certain personal, transactional, and technical information.

This Privacy Policy applies solely to activities conducted within the United States. Plight Hero's Services are intended for use only by individuals and entities located in the United States, and our data collection, storage, and processing practices are designed to comply with applicable United States federal and state privacy and consumer protection laws. Sensitive Personal Information means personal information that includes or reveals precise geolocation, Social Security number, driver's license number or state identification card number, account credentials combined with security or access codes, financial account information, contents of communications unless Plight Hero is the intended recipient, or information concerning background checks. Sensitive Personal Information is subject to heightened protections under applicable laws and Plight Hero's internal policies.

Platform refers to the entire Plight Hero technology ecosystem, including websites, mobile applications, APIs, software, infrastructure, databases, and systems that support the provision of delivery and courier services. Services refers to all services offered or provided by Plight Hero, including delivery request systems, driver assignment and matching, real-time tracking, communication tools, payment processing, customer support, and any related features or functionality.

Users means all individuals or entities who interact with the Platform or Services, including Customers, Businesses, Drivers, website visitors, app users, and anyone who communicates with Plight Hero. Customers refers to individuals or entities that request or receive delivery services through the Platform. Businesses refers to commercial entities that use the Platform for business purposes, including access to Business Accounts, invoicing, reporting, or multi-user management. Drivers refers to independent contractors who use the Platform to offer and perform delivery services.

5. Information We Collect

5.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account, request a delivery, apply to become a Driver, manage a Business account, or communicate with Plight Hero, you may provide personal and business information directly to us. This information is required to identify users, facilitate deliveries, process transactions, and provide customer support.

For Customers and Business users, this may include your full name, email address, phone number, billing information, pickup and drop-off addresses, delivery instructions, contact details for recipients, business name, authorized user details, and communication preferences. When you place an order, we collect information about the contents of the delivery, scheduling details, and any special handling instructions you choose to provide.

For Drivers, we collect additional information necessary to verify identity and eligibility, including government-issued identification, driver's license information, vehicle registration details, proof of insurance, profile photo, and other onboarding or verification documentation required to comply with safety and legal requirements. Drivers may also provide tax-related information, payout preferences, and banking details. However, sensitive financial information is processed through secure third-party payment providers and is not stored directly by Plight Hero.

If you contact customer support or communicate with us through email, in-app messaging, forms, or surveys, we collect the information you choose to share, including the content of messages, attachments, and records of communications. This information is used to respond to inquiries, resolve issues, improve service quality, and maintain accurate support records.

5.2 Location and Geolocation Information

Location information is a core component of Plight Hero's Services. We collect and process location data only while the app is actively in use to enable delivery matching, route calculation, real-time tracking, estimated arrival times, and safety features.

For Drivers, we collect precise GPS location data only while the Driver app is active and the Driver is available for deliveries or actively completing a delivery. This information is used exclusively to match Drivers with nearby delivery requests, provide navigation assistance, display real-time tracking to Customers, calculate distance-based pricing and earnings, and support operational safety. Location tracking automatically stops when a Driver goes offline, completes a delivery, or closes the app.

For Customers, we may collect location information when you enter pickup or drop-off addresses, use address autocomplete features, or view real-time delivery tracking. Depending on device settings, this may include approximate location information derived from IP address or more precise location data if you grant permission. Customers may disable location access through device or browser settings, though certain features of the Services may be limited as a result.

Plight Hero collects location data only while the app is actively in use for delivery-related functions. We do not use location data for advertising, marketing, background tracking unrelated to deliveries, or user profiling.

5.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the Services, Plight Hero automatically collects certain technical and usage information solely to ensure app stability, diagnose errors, improve performance, and maintain reliable operation of the Services. This information is collected through standard technologies such as logs, cookies, software development kits, and similar tools.

Automatically collected information may include device type, operating system, browser type, app version, IP address, time zone, language preferences, mobile carrier, and general network information. We also collect usage data such as pages viewed, features used, actions taken within the app, error logs, crash reports, and performance metrics. This data is used exclusively to diagnose technical issues, improve user experience, prevent abuse, and maintain system stability.

Plight Hero does not use analytics for advertising, marketing, cross-app tracking, or user profiling. All analytics and usage data is collected and used solely for app functionality purposes.

5.4 Payment and Transaction Information

Plight Hero facilitates payments through trusted third-party payment processors such as Stripe. When you make a payment, receive a payout, or manage billing, certain transaction-related information is processed to complete the transaction and maintain accurate records.

This may include transaction amounts, dates, payment method type, billing status, and partial identifiers associated with payment instruments. Plight Hero does not store full credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or sensitive authentication data. All payment information is handled securely by our payment partners in accordance with industry standards and applicable financial regulations. We retain transaction records as necessary for accounting, tax reporting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations.

5.5 Information from Third Parties

In limited circumstances, Plight Hero may receive information from third-party sources to support the Services. This may include identity verification results, background check confirmations for Drivers, mapping and geocoding data, fraud prevention signals, or payment status updates from our service providers. We only receive and use such information in accordance with applicable laws and contractual obligations, and solely for purposes related to providing, securing, and improving the Services.

6. How We Use Information

Plight Hero uses the information we collect solely to operate, maintain, and improve our delivery platform, ensure safe and reliable services, support Customers, Businesses, and Drivers, comply with legal obligations, and protect the integrity of our systems. All personal information is used exclusively for app functionality and delivery operations. We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal data for advertising, marketing, cross-app tracking, or user profiling.

6.1 Providing and Operating the Services

We use personal and operational information to enable the core functionality of the Plight Hero platform. This includes creating and managing user accounts, verifying identities, processing delivery requests, matching Customers and Businesses with available Drivers, calculating routes and estimated delivery times, displaying real-time tracking, and confirming successful pickups and drop-offs. Information such as pickup and drop-off addresses, contact details, delivery instructions, and location data allows us to coordinate deliveries accurately and efficiently. We also use this information to send service-related notifications, confirmations, updates, and alerts through email, in-app messages, or push notifications. Without this data, Plight Hero would be unable to provide reliable delivery services.

6.2 Supporting Driver Operations and Earnings

For Drivers, we use collected information to confirm eligibility, maintain platform safety, and support delivery operations. Identity verification, background screening results, vehicle information, and insurance documentation are used to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements. Location data and delivery details are used to present available delivery requests, provide navigation support, calculate distances, and determine earnings. We also use Driver information to calculate compensation, bonuses, incentives, tips, and adjustments, generate delivery history and performance records, provide payout summaries, and issue required tax-related documentation. This information is essential to ensure transparent and accurate earnings for Drivers using the platform.

6.3 Processing Payments and Financial Transactions

Plight Hero uses transaction-related information to process payments, issue refunds, manage invoices, and support financial reporting. Payment information is used to charge Customers and Businesses for completed deliveries, distribute earnings to Drivers, handle chargebacks or disputes, and maintain accurate accounting records. We also use transaction data to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorized payments, or misuse of payment methods. Financial records may be retained as required for tax compliance, audits, dispute resolution, and regulatory obligations. All payment processing is handled through secure third-party providers, and Plight Hero limits its access to sensitive financial data.

6.4 Ensuring Safety, Security, and Fraud Prevention

We use personal information to protect users, Drivers, and the platform from fraud, abuse, and security threats. This includes monitoring account activity, identifying suspicious behavior, preventing unauthorized access, enforcing our Terms and Conditions, and investigating incidents or disputes. Location data, communication records, and transaction history may be reviewed to resolve delivery issues, investigate claims, support insurance matters, or respond to safety concerns. We may also use information to enforce platform rules, suspend or terminate accounts that violate policies, and maintain trust across the Plight Hero ecosystem.

6.5 Improving and Developing the Platform

Plight Hero uses aggregated and anonymized data solely to maintain app stability, diagnose errors, and improve core service performance. Usage patterns, system performance metrics, and feedback help us optimize routing, enhance app stability, improve customer support processes, and refine pricing models. Where possible, this analysis is conducted using non-identifiable or de-identified data. Any insights derived from this information are used exclusively to improve platform operations and service quality. We do not use data for advertising, marketing, behavioral analysis, or user profiling purposes.

6.6 Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Purposes

We use and retain information as necessary to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This includes responding to lawful requests from government authorities, complying with court orders or subpoenas, fulfilling tax and accounting obligations, maintaining records required by transportation or labor regulations, and enforcing our contractual rights. 7. Information Sharing

Plight Hero shares personal and operational information only when necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, protect platform integrity, or support essential business operations. We do not sell personal information. We do not rent user data. We do not share information for advertising, marketing, or behavioral tracking purposes. Any sharing of information is limited, purposeful, and aligned solely with app functionality and delivery operations.

7.1 Sharing Between Customers and Drivers

To complete deliveries, Plight Hero facilitates limited information sharing between Customers, Businesses, and Drivers. Customers and Businesses may share delivery details such as pickup and drop-off addresses, contact names, delivery instructions, and limited communication information with Drivers assigned to a delivery. Drivers may share limited profile information with Customers, such as first name, profile photo, vehicle type, and real-time location during an active delivery. Real-time GPS location is shared only while a delivery is in progress to enable tracking, estimated arrival updates, and safety monitoring. Once a delivery is completed, live location sharing ends automatically. Plight Hero does not allow unrestricted access to personal contact information beyond what is necessary to complete a delivery, and communications may be routed through in-app messaging or masked contact methods where available.

7.2 Sharing With Service Providers and Vendors

Plight Hero works with trusted third-party service providers to support platform functionality, security, and operations. These providers may include payment processors such as Stripe, cloud infrastructure and database providers, mapping and geolocation services, identity verification vendors, customer support tools, and messaging providers. Information shared with these providers is limited to what is necessary for them to perform their services on our behalf. All service providers are contractually required to protect user information, use it only for authorized purposes, and comply with applicable data protection laws. Plight Hero does not permit these providers to use personal data for advertising, marketing, or unrelated business activities.

7.3 Legal and Regulatory Disclosures

Account information, delivery records, transaction histories, and communications are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to support customer service, audits, compliance, and dispute resolution. Financial records, tax-related information, and payment data are retained as required by applicable tax, accounting, and financial regulations. Driver verification records, background check results, and insurance documentation are retained to demonstrate compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

When you request account deletion, Plight Hero will deactivate your account and delete or anonymize personal information that is no longer required, except where retention is necessary for legal, regulatory, security, or operational purposes. Certain records, such as transaction histories, delivery logs, tax documentation, and dispute records, may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form or in compliance with legal obligations. Data retention practices are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with legal requirements and business needs.

9. Data Security

Plight Hero is committed to protecting the security of personal information collected through the Services. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. Payment processing is handled through secure third-party providers that maintain compliance with applicable financial security standards. Driver background checks and identity verification are conducted through reputable third-party services that adhere to legal and industry standards.

Despite these measures, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for any activity conducted through their accounts. You must notify Plight Hero immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized access, security breach, or compromise of your account. Plight Hero is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized account access caused by user negligence, credential sharing, or failure to follow reasonable security practices.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, the right to restrict or object to certain processing activities, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Disabling location services may limit your ability to use certain features of the Services, such as real-time tracking or address autocomplete. For Drivers, location services are required to accept and complete deliveries.

You may control or disable cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features of the Services. 12. Driver Location Data

Drivers who use the Plight Hero platform are required to enable location tracking only while actively using the Driver app for delivery operations. Location tracking is essential to the operation of the Services and is used exclusively to match Drivers with nearby delivery requests, provide navigation assistance, display real-time tracking to Customers, calculate distance-based earnings, and support safety and operational monitoring.

Location tracking is active only when the Driver app is open and the Driver is logged in and available for deliveries or actively completing a delivery. Location data is not collected when the Driver is offline, has closed the app, or has marked themselves as unavailable. Drivers have full control over when they use the platform and may stop location tracking at any time by logging out of the app or marking themselves as offline.

Location data collected from Drivers is used solely for delivery-related purposes, including matching, routing, tracking, earnings calculation, and safety. Location data is collected only while the app is actively in use for delivery functions. We do not use Driver location data for advertising, marketing, background tracking unrelated to deliveries, or user profiling. Drivers acknowledge and agree that location tracking is a necessary component of providing delivery services through the Plight Hero platform.

By using the Driver app, Drivers consent to the collection and use of location data as described in this Privacy Policy. Drivers who do not consent to location tracking will be unable to accept or complete deliveries through the platform.

13. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for use by individuals under the age of eighteen. Plight Hero does not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under eighteen years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under eighteen without verification of parental or guardian consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as reasonably practicable.
